Track laid tile by tile
Eight-way track on a grid map. Rivers need bridges, mountains need grades, and every tile has a price. The route is a bargain between you and the terrain.
Railway Tycoon · Industry Sim
Let the iron dragon pull an era forward.
It is 1889, and the Peking–Hankow line is still a proposal on paper. You have some capital, a map, and forty-eight years. Link the mines, mills, ports and cities — when freight moves, money moves; when money moves, cities grow.

One minute, all in-game footage: lay the track, send the first train, ride along to the end of the line.
Eight-way track on a grid map. Rivers need bridges, mountains need grades, and every tile has a price. The route is a bargain between you and the terrain.
Every city and mine keeps its own stock and price. Deliver freight and the price falls; cut supply and it climbs. Capacity is profit.
Coal and iron feed the steelworks; steel feeds the rail mill and the locomotive works. Cotton becomes yarn, yarn becomes cloth. Build your own industry and haul your own goods.
The Sino-Japanese War, the Boxer crisis, the 1911 Revolution, the warlord years. Lines get requisitioned, markets collapse overnight — your network has to take the hit.
Where freight arrives, cities grow. Alley houses become terraces, shopfronts become trading houses, populations double — every skyline on the map is something your railway delivered.
There is never enough money to build. Issue bonds, mortgage your lines, reinvest — and watch interest rates turn when silver crashes or the banks fail. Borrowing is a skill; paying it back is the business.
From the Dragon replica and the Mogul to the Mikado and early diesels. Pulling power, speed and reliability all trade off — which wagons to couple and what to haul is your call.
Ten campaign levels, each a management puzzle with three stars to earn. Or take your time in free play — or draw your own country in the map editor. Every random map comes with a seed code: send it to a friend and they get the very same map.
The first spike, the first fare, the first mill of your own, the day Peking and Hankow are joined — every step earns a badge.
The game is still in development. The easiest way to hear about launch day is to put it on your wishlist.
